Nadcap, AD 2000 HP0 and an innovative quenching system: GF-ELTI’s latest achievements

GF-ELTI continues to invest in the development of its heat treatment services division, completing a series of important milestones that further strengthen the quality and competitiveness of its offering.

The company has successfully renewed its Nadcap accreditation, a major international recognition that certifies the quality and reliability of heat-treatment processes in compliance with the aerospace industry’s most stringent standards.

Alongside this, a significant improvement was made to the C40 furnace, enabling the achievement of a highly relevant technical result: a tank transfer time of just 8 seconds. This advancement opens new opportunities for performing heat treatments on high-performance light alloys, including aluminum alloys (solution HT above 0.79 mm thickness) and titanium alloys (β solution HT), ensuring maximum repeatability, stability, and process reliability.

Completing these developments, GF-ELTI has obtained the AD 2000 HP0 certification, a standard recognized in Germany for the design and manufacture of welded equipment and components, whether pressurized or not, in accordance with the essential safety requirements of the European Directive 97/23/EC (Pressure Equipment Directive). This certification strengthens the company’s position in the German market, where many industrial players require suppliers to comply with the AD 2000 HP0 standard.

The renewal of the Nadcap accreditation, the technological advancement of the C40 furnace, and the new AD 2000 HP0 certification are concrete evidence of GF-ELTI’s commitment to quality, innovation, and international development: milestones that further consolidate the company’s role as a qualified partner for complex and strategic projects in the industrial sector.
