Spray Cooling

Spray Cooling is a quenching technique that involves the use of water and air to obtain a cooling process that is faster than the one that follows Normalization Heat Treatments, but less drastic than a Quenching.

This Heat Treatment can be carried out on rolled, forged or cast products for various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Mechanics, Naval, Nuclear, Aerospace and Power Generation.

GF-ELTI performs Spray Cooling Heat Treatments with plants certified according to the most restrictive European and/or international standards such as API 6A, ASTM A991, AMS 2750, NORSOK M-650, NADCAP and ABS.
