H2Burn Technology on “L'Eco di Bergamo” journal

On the 4th January 2022 release, “L’Eco di Bergamo Economia” journal talks about H2BURN, GF-ELTI’s innovative project.  

H2Burn Technology aims at making it possible to use hydro-methane blend in powering industrial plants, thus drastically reducing CO₂ emissions.

During “Made in Steel” exhibition, held in October in Milan, GF-ELTI presented the results obtained from industrial-scale tests carried out on both Regenerative and Autorecuperative Burners powered with Hydromethane blend, containing varying percentages of H₂, up to 100%.

The tests on the innovative burners developed by GF-ELTI have been carried out on two furnaces that the Company use for its heat treatment service.

The latest experiments well represent the constant commitment of GF-ELTI to Research and Development activities aimed at developing performing, sustainable and environmental friendly solutions.

H2BURN therefore makes a stand for GF-ELTI contribution to the on-going projects of  decarbonisation, improved energy efficiency and sustainability of energy-intensive sectors.
